Two women will appear in court after a woman was stabbed in Napier on Friday night.
The incident happened at a house in the suburb of Maraenui about 9pm.
The woman was treated by a doctor at the police station after receiving puncture wounds to her upper arm and a wound to her cheek, Senior Sergeant Tony Dewhirst said.
A woman has been charged with injuring with intent to injure and another with assault with a weapon.
The women, aged 29 and 35, knew each other. One was armed with a knife and the other a golf club, he said.
They were released on bail and will appear in Napier District Court this week.
