Police are the hunt for a man believed to have sexually assaulted a woman in her Blenheim home on Sunday morning.
Officers are today canvassing the neighbourhood around the Eltham Rd home and will be speaking to households to speak to people about the case.
Detective Sergeant Dave Woodley said police were interested in any sightings of a bearded man, possibly Pacific Islander, in the area between 4am and 6am on Sunday.
"We also want to know about anyone who may have just shaved off a beard. We believe the offender may also have scratch marks on the left side of his face."
Detective Sergeant Woodley said police would also be asking residents about any theft of women's underwear after underpants that did not belong to the victim were found at her address after the attack.
