A woman kicked by a cow was flown to hospital with serious injuries.
The Waikato Westpac Helicopter was called to a farm near Wharepapa south, between Putaruru and Otorohanga, about 1pm yesterday.
There a 40-year-old woman was suffering serious internal injuries after being kicked by the animal, a statement from the helicopter said today.
The woman was treated at the scene by St John paramedics before she was flown to Waikato Hospital.
