KEY POINTS:
A woman swearing abuse at the judge and police was removed struggling from the public gallery of Hastings District Court yesterday after the appearance of Hulio Henry Ataria, 22, unemployed, of Waipukurau, charged with murdering Hawkes Bay farmer Mark McCutcheon.
More than 30 supporters were in the court with Mr McCutcheon's widow, Paula.
Ataria was remanded in custody until February 26.
