A woman remains in a critical condition in Wellington Hospital after a crash north of the capital early yesterday.
The two-car collision occurred on State Highway 1 at Paekakariki shortly before 4.30am.
Two women and a man were injured, including a woman who today remained in a critical condition, a Wellington Hospital spokesman said.
The other woman was now in a stable condition while the man was discharged yesterday.
Police are investigating what caused the crash.
