A woman has been seriously injured after her legs were pinned between a silage feedout wagon and a tractor for about two hours.
Taupo Fire Service station officer Jon Gradwell said the incident happened at a Tihoi Rd property about 11.50am today.
He said they freed the woman from between the wagon and tractor once the ambulance service had stabilised her.
A Greenlea Rescue Helicopter spokesman said the 31-year-old was trapped for about two hours by the time they got her out, and she was flown to Waikato Hospital.
He said her injuries were initially classed as critical, but were downgraded to serious.
