A second woman has been discharged from hospital following an incident in Porirua in which a man was shot and tasered by police.
The 49-year-old woman was found with cuts to her arms outside the house in Waitangirua on Thursday and was taken to Wellington Hospital.
She underwent surgery last week and was discharged on Saturday, a hospital spokesman said.
The 39-year-old injured woman was discharged on Thursday night, as was the man who was shot by police.
