KEY POINTS:
A 28-year-old woman was killed when a vehicle crashed at Tapuwae, north Hokianga in the Far North early this morning.
Two of the other three people in the vehicle were taken to hospital.
A woman, 18, a back seat passenger, was flown to Whangarei Hospital with serious arm injuries.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, was taken to Rawene Hospital with leg injuries.
A man, 24, who was in the back seat was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Inspector Kerry Watson said all four were from the Kohukohu area.
