Police have released the name of the woman who died in a tourist bus crash on the Te Anau-Milford highway yesterday.
She was identified as 44-year-old Kyungee Park, an Australian resident originally born in Korea.
Fellow passenger Christine Kyungsuk Hwang remains in Southland Hospital with a cracked vertebrae but is in a stable condition.
Both women had been visiting from Sydney.
Three other Korean females were released yesterday from Southland and Dunedin Hospital. Their injuries were not serious.
The group of travellers were on a five-day tour with Grace Tours of Christchurch.
The driver and remaining passengers travelled on to Queenstown and will fly out of Christchurch as planned.
Enquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing, however, Senior Sgt Bruce Terry said icy conditions were a contributing factor.
