A woman was killed on a Waikato farm yesterday when the vehicle she was driving rolled down a bank.
Emergency services were called to a rural property off Findlay Rd in Maramarua about 1pm where they arrived to find a John Deere all-terrain vehicle had rolled down a bank.
Shirley Ann Soppet, 62, was inside the vehicle and died at the scene.
It is not yet known if there were any other people inside at the time but it is believed ambulance staff treated a second person.
The accident is being investigated by the Waikato Serious Crash Unit and the Department of Labour.
