Woman injured ducking magpie attack

A woman trying to evade a dive-bombing magpie on a Hawke's Bay farm has ended up in hospital with neck injuries.

A Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter spokeswoman said the accident happened at Flemington, near Waipukerau, about 1pm.

The 30-year-old victim was injured trying to avoid the magpie, the spokeswoman said. However, no further details were available.
