A woman has been hurt after the ute she was travelling in rolled in Queenstown.
Police were alerted to the incident on Frankton-Ladies Mile Highway (State Highway 6), just near the bridge that crosses the Shotover Jet River, at about 6.45pm.
A police spokeswoman said the female passenger received minor to moderate injuries while the male drive was uninjured. She was being checked over by ambulance staff.
The spokeswoman said the ute rolled but she could not confirm whether or not it had gone down a bank before the bridge.
A video taken just after the incident showed the vehicle flipped on its side at the bottom of a bank.
