A woman with a suspected broken bone has been rescued from Lake Taupo after slipping on some rocks.
Police and ambulance services were called to Whakamoenga Point shortly after midday.
They found the woman with moderate injuries including a suspected broken bone in her leg.
She has been transported by ambulance to Taupo Hospital.
