A woman suffered back and neck injuries after the car she was driving crashed through a fence in Waikato this morning.
It appeared the woman had lost control of the vehicle on Chepmell Rd, Morrinsville, early this morning, the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter service said.
She was trapped in the car, the rescue service said.
The chopper was sent to the scene due to the remote location, and because she was trapped, which delayed access to high-level medical care, it said.
The woman was stablised at the scene, before being flown to Waikato Hospital with neck and back pain.
