A woman is in hospital with arm and chest injuries after being kicked in the chest by a cow in Hawkes Bay.
The woman, in her 50s, was transported by the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter after suffering the injuries at a farm in Putorino about 9.10am today.
Hawke's Bay District Health Board spokeswoman Anna Kirk said the women was in a stable condition and was being assessed in the Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital emergency department.
