A woman has been taken to Hutt Hospital with a knife stuck in her abdomen after a violent stabbing.
The woman, in her 40s, was found on Knights Road in Lower Hutt around 4.00pm yesterday.
Ambulance staff treated her and took her to hospital in a critical condition.
