KEY POINTS:
A woman is appearing in court today charged with murder following a 16 month investigation into the death of a 14-month-old girl.
The child died in Auckland's Starship Hospital in January last year, four days after being injured at a home in Paengaroa in the Western Bay of Plenty.
A 35-year-old woman will appear in the Rotorua District Court today.
