Woman in court after death of baby

An 18-year-old Putaruru woman appeared in Tokoroa District Court today charged with ill treating a child.

Jaymie Haddock, 18, entered no plea and was remanded on bail by Judge Phillip Cooper until a pre-depositions hearing on June 7.

The charges follow the death of 3-1/2 month old baby Sarah Rebecca Haddock-Woodcock in March.
