A woman in her 60s is in critical condition after being hit by a ute on Great Barrier Island.
Police were called to the crash on a private property on Puriri Rd at 7.45pm.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded from Auckland and has transported the woman to Auckland Hospital.
Police are investigating the circumstances.
