A woman hit by a car last night on Tamaki Drive in Auckland central is still in hospital but no longer in a critical condition, police say.
The female pedestrian was struck at about 9.30pm.
Senior Sergeant Danny Mead said he understood the woman had a few broken bones but her injuries were not considered life threatening and she was now in a moderate condition.
