A woman remains in critical condition in Wellington Hospital after she was hit by a trolley bus yesterday -- the latest accident on Wellington's new Golden Mile bus priority lanes.
The woman was thought to have been out jogging when struck by the bus in Willis Street, about 1.10pm.
She had surgery last night and was in a critical condition in the intensive care unit this morning, a Capital and Coast District Health Board spokeswoman said.
She was the fifth pedestrian to be injured by a bus since the priority lanes opened last year.
