KEY POINTS:
Police have released the name of a 42-year-old woman who was found dead in her Wellington home yesterday.
Police said Monica Margo McAuley died suddenly in her home on Nevay Rd in Miramar.
There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, police said, and the matter would now be referred to the coroner.
Ms McAuley, a real estate agent for the company Tommy's, moved to New Zealand from Ireland in the mid-1990s.
Her image was known through Wellington from billboards featuring her image and typically making use of her Irish heritage, with slogans like "Another great Irish export" and "A touch of the Blarney".
Police said her family in Ireland had been informed of her death.
