A post mortem examination will be done tomorrow on the body of the woman found dead on an Auckland driveway this morning.
She was found in Mount Roskill. Police say the woman's death is unexplained.
The place where the body was found is near a number of businesses and the police said they would ask them for any CCTV footage they hold that might show the woman.
Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Armstrong said ambulance officers were called and found the woman's body on a driveway in Frost Rd at around 1.40am.
A Herald photographer at the scene said a forensics team were there and the area had been cordoned off.
