A woman who was abused then pushed to the ground by one of two youths in a Napier supermarket carpark had the final say when she sent the pair packing.
"She leaped to her feet and punched one right in the face," said Detective Sergeant Nick Reid of Napier.
"It had the desired effect ... they took off."
The incident happened about 8.15pm on Monday when the 33-year-old woman was making her way to her car.
