A woman, thought to have been abducted from Newmarket in Auckland earlier this week, has been located "safe and well" by police.
Members of the public said the woman was forced into a car on Tuesday morning near the intersection of Broadway and Manukau Rd.
Police launched a search for the woman, fearing for her safety.
Detective Senior Sergeant Glenn Baldwin said the woman was found because of members of the public who assisted with information.
"Police were able to locate the woman involved and speak to her and she is safe and well," he said.
