A woman who suffered an allergic reaction to some food she had eaten had to be flown to hospital this morning.
Taupo's Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was called to Ruatahuna to airlift the woman to Rotorua Hospital.
Helicopter staff said the woman, in her 50s, was experiencing significant breathing issues.
