A woman will face firearms charges after another woman alleged she'd had a gun presented to her in Christchurch today.
Police were called to Richmond 1.20pm today today for what they described as a domestic incident.
The Armed Offenders Squad attended the scene and two people were taken into custody. Police said a gun was found when the property was searched.
A 48-year-old woman was arrested and will face firearms related charges.
A number of witnesses were assisting police with their enquiries.
