A Kiwi family is grieving at the loss of a woman who died after apparently slipping off a luxury yacht in Fiji's Blue Lagoon.
Auckland's Chelsia Lo, 33, had been holidaying with her partner, Australian financier Ronald Burton.
Her lawyer Bruce Patterson described the accident, which happened on June 13, as "a terrible tragedy".
Lo and Burton had been on the $14 million Alani II, a 35m yacht skippered by Aucklander Ben Grenfell.
That night Burton went to bed while Lo decided to stay up, said Patterson. "It appears as if she slipped off the back of the boat on which they were staying quite late in the evening and no one noticed her missing until the morning."
