A woman in Christchurch was dragged a significant distance by a vehicle after three men attempted to steal her bag.
At 6.50pm on Monday the 26-year-old woman was walking on Niven St, Avondale, when she was approached by three men in a vehicle.
One of the men attempted to take her bag, and at the same time, the vehicle started driving off while she continued holding on to it.
She was then dragged a significant distance, ending up on the nearby Breezes Rd.
Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the Breezes Rd and Avondale Rd area at the time and may have seen the incident, or anything suspicious.
