KEY POINTS:
A Rotorua woman who fulfilled her dying wish of marrying her true love has died two weeks after the dream wedding.
Wiki Brown, who died on Monday, was told earlier this month she had end-stage cervical cancer, the Daily Post reported.
After receiving the news, her partner of 28 years Jackson Brown proposed, and they married on June 7 in front of their 11 children and 200 family and friends.
A number of businesses donated products and services for the wedding after a family friend, Mary Cooper, had advertised the story on a local radio station.
Mrs Cooper told the newspaper the death of Mrs Brown was tremendously sad.
"It was a joy to be part of their lives and to help Wiki achieve her dream," she said.
