KEY POINTS:
A woman is dead after her car left State Highway 57 in Horowhenua and overturned in a creek early today.
The crash happened about 2.40am off Margaret Street, Shannon.
The woman was believed to be in her 20s and from the Shannon area.
Police central communications spokesman Inspector Michael Coleman said the woman was the only occupant of the Honda vehicle.
