Save A woman has died after crashing her scooter into a tree in Northland today.
The incident happened about at Omapere, 60km south west of Kaikohe, about 9.30am, police said.
The Serious Crash Unit will be investigating the cause of the crash, but at this stage it appeared the scooter had
left the road and hit a tree.
Police would not be releasing the name of the woman until her next of kin had been notified, police said.
