KEY POINTS:
A woman whose body was found in a Waikato home several days ago died of natural causes but police say a man faces several charges.
Pauline Sharryn Witeri, 50, was found dead in bed in a house Ngaruawahia, north of Hamilton, last Thursday.
Police said today preliminary post mortem results revealed she died of natural causes.
"However, further investigation by police was warranted due to a number of other injuries evident on the body," they said in a statement.
"As a result of that investigation, a number of charges have been laid against a 34-year-old man who will be appearing in the Hamilton District Court Tuesday."
