A woman who was crushed between a caravan and house is in a serious but stable condition at Waikato Hospital.
The 64-year-old was flown to the hospital by the Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter from Coroglen, Coromandel about 10am yesterday.
A spokeswoman for the rescue service said the woman was helping her husband "reposition" their caravan when he lost sight of her while reversing.
"She got crushed between the caravan and the house."
An initial assessment indicated the woman had serious chest injuries, and a possible broken rib which punctured a lung.
