A woman is fighting for her life after a stabbing in South Auckland last night.
Police were called to a Redoubt Rd property in Goodwood Heights just after 9.30pm where they found a woman injured in an assault.
St John Ambulance said the victim was taken to Middlemore Hospital in a critical condition with a stab wound.
Police said a 39-year-old man would appear in the Manukau District Court today charged with threatening to kill and wounding with intent.
