A 27-year-old woman has suffered critical injuries as a result of the victim of a hit-and-run in Auckland early this morning.
The woman was struck by a motor vehicle on Morrin Road, St Johns at approximately 5.15am. Police say the vehicle failed to stop after hitting the female victim.
The vehicle has been described as a grey sedan or station wagon, possibly a Ford Falcon and it is likely to have suffered frontal damage.
The car was last seen on College Road, St Johns.
Glen Innes Criminal Investigative Branch are investigating the incident and want to speak to anyone who was at the Lepuha Nightclub on Morrin Road.
