A 45-year-old woman is in critical condition after a crash between her motorbike and a ute in Hastings.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Farndon and Pakowhai Rd in Hastings at 2pm where the two vehicles had collided.
The woman was transported to Hastings Hospital in critical condition while the sole occupant of the ute didn't require medical assistance.
The police serious crash unit were currently at the scene and diversions were in place.
There are road closures on Pakowai Road in both directions temporarily, police says.
It was unknown when the road would be cleared
