Woman critical after car-surfing accident

Wellington, Jan 14 NZPA - A 26-year-old woman was badly injured after a car-surfing accident in New Plymouth last night.

The woman fell from the roof of a four-wheel-drive vehicle in suburban Bell Block about 7pm.

She was taken to Taranaki Base Hospital in critical condition.

The police serious crash unit is investigating.
