Woman charged with 77-year-old's murder

A 51-year-old woman has been charged with murdering a 77-year-old man at his home in Levin last month.

The former Levin woman, now of Wellington, will appear in Levin District Court this afternoon, Detective Sergeant Peter Govers said in a statement today.

The man was found dead in bed at his Paisley St home on February 5. A post-mortem examination showed the cause of death as asphyxiation.
