KEY POINTS:
A woman has been arrested and charged over a molotov cocktail attack on a house and car at Mt Maunganui on Sunday night.
Police said the woman, aged 20, was arrested in Maketu today. She would also face a charge of possessing cannabis as the result of a search of her home.
A house and car in Tweed Street, Mt Maunganui, received minor damage from the arson attack at about 8pm on Sunday.
Police said the incident was of a domestic nature and the woman would appear in Tauranga District Court tomorrow.
