A drunk woman attacked and dented a police car with a rolling pin in Hawke's Bay on Saturday night, say police.
They went to Porangahau Rd, Waipukurau about 8.40pm following complaints an intoxicated woman was brandishing a knife and a rolling pin, Sergeant Denis Tatere told Hawke's Bay Today.
Police were forced to restrain her after she threatened them and damaged the patrol car, he said.
"Nobody hit the woman but she got a bleeding nose and was taken to hospital, claiming she had a blood disorder."
A 50-year-old central Hawke's Bay woman will appear in court on Thursday charged with possession of a knife and wilful damage.
