KEY POINTS:
Auckland police are investigating an attack on a woman while she was out for an early morning jog today.
The 27-year-old was running near the intersection of Wembley and Dominion Rds when she was grabbed by a man just before 7am. Police say he groped her bottom and breasts but she managed to push him away and he ran off.
Acting Detective Sergeant Duncan Hall said the woman had jogged past the man earlier in her run but it is believed he caught up to her at an intersection and grabbed her from behind.
He is described as a pale skinned Caucasian in his early 20s and wearing a dark coloured hoodie. He was 180-185cm tall, of solid build and had no facial hair. The man was last seen running down Wembley Rd.
