Police are on the hunt for a man who robbed a woman on a suburban Hamilton street.
Police say the woman who was working as a surveyor at the time was returning to her vehicle about 9.40am this morning on Tennyson Street, when she was struck from behind and knocked to the ground.
Senior Sergeant Mike Underwood said the attacker ran off with the woman's phone and a small amount of cash.
Because she was struck from behind the woman was unable to give a description of her attacker.
Police are asking for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around the Tennyson Street area to contact them.
