Woman arrested for Rotorua Price Cutter robbery

A Porirua woman has been arrested in connection with the robbery of the Rotorua Price Cutter store last month.

Rotorua detectives travelled to Porirua where search warrants were executed and the 29-year-old woman was arrested.

She was to appear today in Porirua District Court charged with aggravated assault with a weapon and assault with intent to rob, following the incident on Sunset Rd, Rotorua, on January 22.

Police are still looking for a second alleged assailant and other people involved with the incident.
