KEY POINTS:
Police have arrested a 33-year-old Christchurch woman after the knifepoint robbery of the Spreydon Pharmacy earlier this month.
Inspector Alan Weston said the woman faces charges of aggravated robbery.
Police allege she walked into the pharmacy on May 15 with her face concealed by a bandana and threatened staff with a 30cm kitchen knife, demanding they give her methadone.
Staff gave her a bottle of the drug, and she left the store.
After some "great help" from the community, Mr Weston said the Hoon Hay woman was arrested this morning and will appear in Christchurch District Court later today.
