A Hamilton woman has admitted to killing her life-long friend by accidentally shooting him after a prolonged drinking session.
Tiffani Jade Sutcliffe, 23, was pointing a sawn-off rifle at Rhys Gordon Williamson when it went off at his home on Seddon Road in Frankton in May.
Williamson, who was shot in the stomach, died at the scene before help could arrive. Sutcliffe on Tuesday pleaded guilty to his manslaughter in the High Court at Hamilton but a second charge of unlawful possession of a firearm was withdrawn. S
She will be sentenced on November 23.
