A woman charged with murdering her partner in Orewa, north of Auckland, will stand trial tomorrow.
Natalie Theresa Ford was charged with the murder of her partner Gary Marshall at a house in Milton Rd, Orewa on January 3, last year.
She made a brief appearance in the High Court at Auckland today where a jury of six men and six women were sworn in.
Ford initially appeared in North Shore District Court on an assault charge the day after Mr Marshall died. She appeared again charged with murder the following week.
The Crown have indicated today that they will call 39 witnesses at the trial which has been set down for two weeks before Justice Kit Toogood.
