A Napier woman was today remanded on bail for a depositions hearing next month when she appeared in court on a charge of murdering a man found with stab wounds in a crashed car last Friday.
Jacqueline Elaine Wihongi, 33, is charged with the murder of Vivian Sinclair Hirini at Napier on June 5. An earlier charge of assault was withdrawn by police.
Counsel Russell Fairbrother said not guilty pleas would be entered at the depositions hearing on July 21.
