A woman who conned Dunedin cafes and restaurants by making false complaints about the quality of their meals will face 34 charges in Dunedin District Court.
The 36-year-old-woman, accused of cheating eateries of several hundred dollars from November to April 6, is being charged with obtaining cash by deception and attempting to obtain a financial gain, the Otago Daily Times reported.
She was arrested after complaints from cafes, restaurants and bars.
The woman was granted name suppression and her case was adjourned to May 14.
