A Hamilton woman has appeared in court charged with internet banking fraud totalling more than $450,000.
Airiana Paul, 20-year-old labourer, entered no plea in Hamilton District Court this week to 11 charges of dishonestly obtaining a pecuniary advantage.
Court documents revealed that Paul allegedly accessed the National Bank's internet banking system on 11 times between November 21 last year and January 5, obtaining a total of $453,000, The Waikato Times reported.
On one occasion, Paul allegedly obtained $80,000.
She was remanded on bail to reappear next month and ordered not to possess or use a computer.
